Congratulations to CUHK’s robotics team on winning the Grand Prix Award and Best Design Award at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) 2024, held in Quảng Ninh, Vietnam! The team has won the Championship for Hong Kong and CUHK for the third time!

The CUHK robotics team won the championship at the Contest in 2019, and has been the only Hong Kong team to win this international trophy for robotics since the competition began in 2002. In 2022, the team won for the second time.

The CUHK robotics team was selected to represent Hong Kong in the ABU Robocon after winning the championship at the Robocon 2024 Hong Kong Contest. The team is comprised of students mostly from Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE), Electronic Engineering (EE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
