This Award recognizes a design project that has the potential to influence the mechanical engineering industry, shows technical excellence in the field, demonstrates innovation and creativity, and possesses commercial viability. One award is given to each institution only.

OptiGrip: Sustainable, Minimal & Optimized Prosthetic Mount and Rehab Splintage

Current mounting devices are often bulky, which reduces motion and confidence while causing discomfort. At OptiGrip, we prioritize minimalism and optimization to craft our mounting devices to address these issues effectively.

Utilizing advanced 3D design software, our customizable prototypes feature a sleek, three-part assembly comprised of fingers, wrist support, and connectors, further ensuring optimal stability and range of motion. The design ensures optimal stability and range of motion to deliver exceptional functionality and experience for both rehabilitation and daily tasks.
