The MAE Department was pleased to host its first Graduation Dinner on 18 May 2025. This joyous evening brought together final-year students, faculty members, alumni, and staff to celebrate the remarkable achievements and milestones of the graduating students.

Before the dinner commenced, Professor Ben Chen (Chairman of the MAE Department), along with Ir Professor Alan Lam (Coordinator for Alumni and Industry Relations of the MAE Department) and Mr. Kent Lau (Chairman of the MAE Alumni Association), delivered heartfelt speeches. They extended their warmest congratulations to the graduates, offering words of advice as they embark on their next journey, and encouraged them to stay connected to the Department by joining the MAE Alumni Association.

As the evening unfolded, guests enjoyed a delightful buffet dinner, where graduates engaged in meaningful conversations with fellow classmates, faculty members, alumni, and staff. It was a special occasion for exchanging experiences, gaining valuable insights into future career and study pathways, and reminiscing about their undergraduate journeys. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and nostalgia, making the event a truly memorable milestone for all.

Their dedication to fostering stronger connections between graduates and alumni plays a vital role in inspiring and guiding our students towards success.
