Qiguang He is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Before joining CUHK in 2023, Prof. He received his bachelor’s degree at Tsinghua University in 2015. He obtained his master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania from 2021 to 2023. His current research focuses on the design and fabrication of soft robotics, actuating materials, mechanical metamaterials, and mechanical intelligence.
